Wake to start the life signs in the sleeping home .. and Nation...

   You aren't interested in how really early it is, for some folks are already on the clock and punched in. The empty coffee pot screamed for my attention, gently but insisting. We are going (my wife) to buy more good grounds. The stock pile has disappeared, the President had best fix the supply chains, if he is in charge, really in charge. Here in the Great North West, home of Coffee Culture -- I take mine hot and black, and I have been told too strong. I do like Black Rifle Coffee Company, but really don't buy much Folgers seems to be the normal grind.

   I watched 13 hours, twice during recent days, like the twenty year anniversary of  9/11. We need to dwell on our inability to protect our nameless unknowns but to God.  So I watch Blackhawk down, knowing that General Gage in Boston was as convinced as the American General in Africa that his superiority would make his troops do well in indian territory. The finest Army in the world.  History just changes the weapons and the names and languages of the players. The fools are constant.  Still remember a book from long ago, titled The Afghan Campaign, great story. Yeah, war doesn't change much.

   Big day today, do I shave, dress for company or to walk outside with Covid-19, well find Alexa broadcasting my video??? She is diverted to Southern Gospel. I prepare for today's war game.

Thinkin' about fools again, which is a waste of good time...

  Some fools in Washington, both DC and this fine state think disarming the citizens will stop gun violence. Same fools that think they are safe from their own responsibility for the antics of antifa and the mobs with Black Lives Matter. They do give fools everywhere a bad name.

 9 September morn.... I have been slowly recovering from  Government goodness, and lack of efficiency. Really under my wife's care and it works better than trying to do it all myself. Time in the hospital makes me happy there are so many great professionals, makes me sad I don't wait for healing before I go immediately into my fool normal.

Nothing new under the Sun

  An advantage in having little to do of note nor importance is time. Time is on my side. So I listen a little to the talking heads of news organizations and folks making excuses for the collapse of Afghanistan, back to where it wants to be. And the blame game goes everywhere, the real trouble makers aren't in the spotlight, they are in their lairs and unreported meetings. The spies know who is a power and who is around the power centers making things happen, and they find ways to control what is going on. They work to make a difference for their side and leave no trace except a smile. Or a Fear. Reference 'Charlie Wilson's War' with Tom Hanks, lovely comedy of real history.

  Having my fill of fools, I find 'Shooter' and Bob Lee Swagger, I figured the story of Earl Swagger more entertaining but it is only a writer's fabric moves through changing times and events and I will always find something to consider. We can't really live on what comes over media, from politics, or others they are considerations only, the same type of people will cry for the death of Christ or you = a mob has a stupidity that defies eras.

Fine day for the Lord

 Here I am reinventing a life on the internet, and I am confused likely lost for what I knew is gone. Like how do I fix a link to my blog, FB page and search engines. Where can I adjust the time out at on my computer? I don't move so fast now.

Start the morning with Coffee, so simple!

Eighty-two minutes until my televised (YouTube) church service, still cowering from Covid-19. Yesterday we attended The Men's Bible Study at Golden Harvest buffet, great food, prayers and fellowship. Next one is at Patrick's home, at four pm. The Governor would not like us, but we are accustomed to that.

Ah, stopped to get up and walk around the inside of home then on to the porch, keep moving! Watched a neighbor girl in leggings on a skate blade? warming the street up.  The neighborhood wakes up the elder couple is gardening already, she has Parkinson's and he builds stuff to help. Put in old cabinets to store his tools in - a never ending challenge to living older in America, where to put the stuff.  Of course it too quickly changes to 'where did I put that? My wife was confused by the kitchen window not sliding far enough to lock up. She had it latched already, but wasn't aware of it.

Project Appleseed is really starting back up in different states, new shooters and new instructors to carry the program. Not looking like the old days yet, but if ammunition supply gets moving the program will also.

I once wanted to own and shoot an M1A in 7.62. But went traditional, with an M1 from my father's and uncle's war. Got it from CMP in a box, and delivered to my front porch door. Times sure have changed. Can't wait to go shooting again, after the healing is well in hand.

As I understand it, the Democrats all love criminals...

  Taking my wife to her appointment I noted a tent encampment, and that is because of Democrats that only love voters that can't be responsible.  I lived under a tiny tent before, or even some of the GP Mediums on a cot, but only in the military.

 

  Try again it is after 4 am, went to bed early last night - before my wife returned from church, so I had plenty of sleep. I bring up Prime to see some movie but realize that I do not need to be entertained by computers, there aren't any humans that answer phones any closer than India, or so it seems to me. So I need to repair, wipe clean and reset my desk top computer - will call a service person today. 

   Sitting awaiting morning coffee and wondering if I should dress and get a mug, procrastination strikes again. I started a new pot already.    Got it! Couple of sips will do.

    Still too much stuff in my computer cave, need to get rid of it.

 

What do I think, not that anyone needs to know...

  It seems to be a holiday by default and I wasn't paying attention until I turned on the cable and noted special 4th of July shows. I just found the Covid-19 restriction page for Washington State and it is dated tomorrow,  6 July.  It is amazing that I believe I am aware or in control of anything.  

Just me, not changed that much.

So I was streaming Tucker Carlson Today and his guest was Ned Ryun, who had just publish a book, The Adversaries.  And the discussion mentioned Nick Bunker's book An Empire on the Edge. So I purchased both and a space opera to while away my house arrest by the governor. The author's father was Jim Ryun famous miler from my youth. One doesn't get far from truth and interests. I recommended both books on the Appleseed forum, but there is no one listening that doesn't speak Chinese.
