Time to read Job, an annual mission of self and God...

  1. "Enjoy" reading Job. I love the fact that when all the bad things happened to Job, he didn't respond with the patience that everyone talks about; he was royally pissed. The lessons in Job are many and great, but the first thing to realize is that Job was a pious man who did not expect bad things to happen to him and his family. Some modern evangelists et alia should keep Job's lessons more in their minds. God is not a magic figure that we can control. Thus endeth the sermon for the day.
